The Nottley River located on
the west side of U.S. 19/129
south of Blairsville is a popular
tubing and canoeing river.
Rapids range from Class I - II
- Toccoa
River
Tube or canoe the Toccoa River. The
Toccoa River Canoe Trail is a 17.3 mile run
from Deep Hole Recreation Area to Lake Blue
Ridge. It is one of the prettiest streams in
the state.
Rapids range from Class I - III
Float fishing on this river trail or below Blue
Ridge dam to McCaysville is a popular pastime.

to shoot the world-class rapids in rafts, canoes,
and kayaks.

Lake Blue Ridge
The crystal blue waters of Lake Blue
Ridge, with 100 miles of shoreline, contain
the headwaters of the pristine Toccoa River,
which flows northward into the Ocoee River in
Tennessee.
Boat ramps are available in a number of locations,
including Lake Blue Ridge Marina, Lakewood Landing,
Morganton Point and Blue Ridge Recreation Area.

Water Falls
- Long Creek Falls
The
most popular of the waterfalls
in Fannin County is Long Creek
Falls,
which can be seen by hiking down a
short side trail from the combined
Appalachian and Benton MacKaye
Trail.
These falls total about 50 feet in
two
distinct drops. A leisurely 30
minute
hike to the falls is uphill on the
way
in, downhill on the way out.

Area.

Sea Creek Falls is located in the Cooper Creek area
